Update QAD ultra rest not dropping

With the help of of QAD customer service, I was able to identify why my drop away rest would not drop when I shot from my previous post.

It came down to tension on the cord. There are two lines on the Hunter Ultra Rest. I thought the two lines were supposed to be lined up at full draw and ultimately toward the end of my draw cycle in order to get the rest to drop soon enough for max arrow vane clearance. (Timing lines 路‍♂️) What I failed to recognize was the rest was not coming to the fully up position when the lines were aligned and therefore not enough tension to release the rest down when the shot was fired.

So…I was quickly able to adjust the tension by shortening the length of cable running through my @sawtoothoutdoorproducts anchor knot to prove out the theory! From the slow motion video it looks like the rest is clear as the vanes pass through. The anchor knot is now distributed through Bohning Archery.

Not sure if this was related to the arrow weight change or not…i have by guesses.
