Timing – Daily Journal
Ecclesiastes 3:1 ESV
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
I think of timing often as we move through the year. There are different seasons my family and I move through. It seems whatever we focus our energy on is the season. Seeing the actual change of the seasons reminds me of the past years and seasons I tend to focus on at that specific time of year. New year, Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas or Spring Turkey, fishing, beach, deer hunting…
This is also true when I think about projects or events that happen around us. I feel we are moving from one season of maybe lockdown and maybe fear of heading out into a season of reconnecting in person and establishing some new/old friends.
