Squirrel Hunting with an Air Rifle

Small game and specifically squirrels are a great way to start kids out hunting. I have always had my hunting partner(s) ready and willing to tag along. These hunts were a bit more special as we learned. The Gamo Wildcat Whisper air rifle fits this type of hunting situation perfectly. There was a lot that leads up to these hunts. It all started with the Hunter’s Safety Course (online this year), practicing firearm safety, going to the range many times to get comfortable shooting, and quite a few failed attempts at hunting squirrels. In the end, it was successful.
