Journey – Daily Journal
Jeremiah 29:11 ESV
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Psalm 119:105 ESV
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
The journey is an interesting concept. Moving from one place to another. I imagine if I took an overhead perspective of my actual path along any one small journey, it would look like a crazy Plinko game. Bouncing from one side to another and maybe even reversing direction now and then. I am sure many of the small journeys I have done are a part of the bigger journey that has me where I am now.
“Things all happen for a reason”. This is what Jeremiah 29:11 reminds me of when reading it. Good or bad (in my mind) things all happen along our journey and without knowing the future, I can only observe the present and remember the past and make decisions for my journey.
