Goodness Kyudo – Daily Journal
Goodness encompasses such qualities as courtesy, compassion, morality, and non-aggression. In kyudo, goodness is shown by displaying proper attitude and behavior in all situations. A good kyudo archer is a person who maintains his or her composure and grace even in times of great stress or conflict. From https://www.kyudo.com/kyudo-k.html
One of my favorite verses that contain goodness.
Galatians 5:22-23 ESV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
A simple term to keep in mind. Kyudo teaches it in a way to act in all times. Respect, love and mercy would be how I sum it up on how I would like to compose myself…even in stressful situations. The Galatians 5 verse is something I still unpack and one of my favorites. There might be a literal meaning here, but I think there may be more. The “fruit” of the highest emotions know – there is no law. These emotions are free and available to everyone to experience. This is where we all feel most aligned, in flow, no resistance, at peace, more creative, well being, infinite.
