Making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
As an engineer I get to ask why a lot! One way to find the root of a problem is to ask why a few times (maybe 5 or more). Kids do this to learn as well. I have noticed that if I ask why enough, I will reach a point of not knowing or not understanding. My knowledge can go no further without more research and relying on something else to learn. I am sure this happens to everybody.
The answer “God only knows.” Or I know the answer is out there and seek this. It’s also a realization that my understanding or knowledge is so limited.
